Rajuvum Ammayum - a real-life story

An aged mother and her mentally challenged son used to live in the Thekkinkadu Maithanam at Thrissur. The mother and son had to take refuge in the streets after her daughter threw both of them out of their home. They managed to survive with the food provided by some good souls. Their story had appeared in newspapers and now it will be picturised in the movie Rajuvum Ammayum directed by Devarajan. Madambu Kunjikkuttan writes the script.
Jagathy Sreekumar plays the mentally disabled son and Sukumari as his mother. Anoop Menon, Urmila Unni and KPAC Lalitha play other characters
