Indrajith as Chekavar

A middle class family with a father and mother and their young son and daughter becomes the victims of goondaism. The son Kashinathan, played by Indrajith, is a sub-inspector who fights against the goondas, just for his family to lead a peaceful life. Will he get support from the police and from the law? In anycase the victim has to fight for himself. This is the theme of the movie Chekavar directed by Sajeevan who earlier wrote the scripts for Pouran, Rashtram and Red Salute. This is his first attempt at movie direction. Samvritha Sunil, Kalbhavan Mani, Jagathi, Suraj and Janardanan play the major characters.
