Arya to act in Malayalam

Tamil superstar Arya will act in a Malayalam movie. Recently there was news that Tamil Superstar Vikram will act in Malayalam movie directed by Roshan Andrews. Roshan is now planning to bring Arya also to Malayalam to act in another movie along with Prithviraj. The movie which is a musical thriller will portray the adventures and romance in the lives of two youngsters. Bobby-Sanjay team will write the script for this movie not named yet. Arya is one of the successful young actors in Tamil. Boss Engira Bhaskaran and ChikkuBukku are his new Tamil movies that will be released shortly. |

Prithviraj's dream comes true

It was Prithviraj's dream during his days at Sainik School to become an Army officer. He also has great respect for Army officers. Now his dream comes true atleast to play an army officer in Anwar Rasheed's new movie. This will be an action movie, other actors are not yet decided.

Sabarimala Rahasyam by Lal Jose -Sreenivasan team

Sreenivasan's character in superhit movie Chintavishtayaya Shyamala becomes a changed personaliity after he goes to Sabarimala, which was the turning point in the movie. Sreenivasan plans yet another Sabarimala trip in the new movie Sabarimala Rahasyam directed by Lal Jose. This time, the journey is for investigating a crime. It is the first time that Lal Jose is handling this theme. Script is by none other than the king of thrillers SN Swamy. Unlike his usual style, SN Swamy is creating a humorous character to be played by Sreenivasan.

Shakespeare story, Indrajith Hero

Director VK Prakash directs a new Malayalam movie based on Shakespeare's Hamlet with Indrajith playing the main character.Balram Mattannur who wrote the script for Jayaraj's Kaliyattam which was also based on a Shakespeare story will write script for this movie. After his recent hit Gulumal, VK Prakash is handling a serious theme in this movie. This movie will hopefully provide a break for Indrajith whose recent movies like Nayakan had flopped.

Apoorvaragam No:1 in box-office

Two youth movies Apoorvaragam and Malarvadi Arts Club are topping the hit charts. Apoorvaragam directed by Siby Malayil is the No:1 at the box office. Strong script and direction is making this movie a superhit. The unpredictable storyline is the plus point of this movie. The performances by Asif and Nishan is remarkable.Playback singer Vineeth Sreenivasan's directorial debut Malarvadi is a celebration of the youth. Though it has a few flaws it is definitely an entertainer. This movie is at second position in the hit chart. It collected Rs.10.5 lakhs from Ernakulam Padma and Rs 7.5 lakhs from Trivandrum New theatre in the last 2 weeks.

Meera Jasmine joins the club of Actor-Producers in Malayalam cinema world. Meera will announce the details of new movie that will be produced by her shortly.The director and actors in the movie is not yet decided. Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj, Dileep, Lal and Maniyanpillai Raju are the actors who are also involved in movie production. Meera is the first among the Malayalam actresses to join this group.

CBI Diarykurippu - Part 5 coming

The fifth part of the crime investigation movie CBI Diarykurippu is coming. Director K Madhu informed that the script writing for the movie is in progress which is planned for 2011 release. SN Swami will write the script for this movie. He was the script writer for all the CBI movies so far. The first movie Oru CBI Diarykkurippu was released in 1988 and the second part Jagratha in 1989. Fifteen years later the third part SethuramaIyer CBI was released in 2004, followed by Nerariyan CBI in 2006.

Prabhudeva in Malayalam with Prithviraj

Tamil actor will act in Malayalam movie Urumi along with Prithviraj. It is believed to be a strong character equivalent to that of Prithvi. Jenilia is the heroine. The movie is produced under the banner August cinemas owned by Prithvi and Santhosh Sivan. It will be picturised in Malayalam, Tamil and English. The story is set in the 15th century - a group of youths and a Portuguese princess who plans to kill Vasco da Gama who landed in Kerala.

Jayasurya and Kunchako Boban are the heroes in Shaji Kailas movie which will be an action-comedy movie. The movie is produced by actor Vijayakumar. Generally Shaji Kailas does not consider young stars and those will less star value in his movies. Shooting will begin in 2011 May.
